Plugin storage and website previews
Skills-only plugins do not set cookies on thedoersfirm.com merely because they are installed or used in Codex. ChatGPT, Codex, connected apps, and websites accessed during a workflow manage their own storage and cookies under their policies. Removing a skill package does not clear those providers’ sessions.
This website stores display mode, 3D quality, and motion preferences in browser local storage under tdf-experience. An owner sign-in uses a session cookie for authentication. Clearing site storage removes saved display choices and may sign you out of the owner area. These settings are not plugin conversation records.
Portfolio card images are saved website screenshots. When you choose Open interactive preview, the external website loads in an iframe and receives connection information, including your IP address, and may use its own cookies or storage subject to browser restrictions. A direct live-site link opens the provider’s website. Cached screenshots do not load that website’s scripts in your browser. No live website is loaded simply by hovering a card.
We do not add tracking cookies through a skills-only package. Any optional analytics or marketing technology introduced in our own services will require the appropriate notice and consent controls before use.
1. Introduction
This Cookie Policy explains how The Doers Firm ("we", "us", "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on our website, products, and AI applications, and how you can control them.
It should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle personal data more broadly.
2. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They help websites remember your actions and preferences over time, keep sessions secure, and understand how the site is used.
Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixels, and software development kits (SDKs). References to "cookies" in this policy include these technologies where relevant.
3. Categories of cookies we use
Strictly necessary
These cookies are required for the website and applications to function and cannot be switched off in our systems. They support security, load balancing, session continuity, and remembering your cookie choices.
Functional
These cookies remember choices you make, such as your preferred language or interface settings, so we can provide a more personalised experience. If you disable them, some features may not work correctly.
Analytics and performance
Where enabled, these cookies help us understand how visitors use the site — which pages are popular, how users navigate, and whether they encounter errors. We use this information in an aggregated form to improve the Services.
Marketing
We do not currently run third-party advertising on this website. If we introduce marketing cookies in the future, we will ask for your consent before setting them and update this policy accordingly.
4. Third-party technologies
Some features of the Services rely on third parties who may set their own cookies or process requests from your device:
- Website fonts and images — assets served by this site do not require loading a third-party website in your browser.
- WhatsApp — our click-to-chat button links to WhatsApp, which sets its own cookies once you open it.
- Contact delivery — submitted enquiry details may be delivered through FormSubmit or Resend; this is form processing, not a plugin tracking cookie.
- Hosting and infrastructure providers — our site is delivered through cloud hosting that may set strictly necessary security cookies.
5. Your consent
Where required by law, we ask for your consent before setting non-essential cookies, and you can change or withdraw your consent at any time using the cookie controls on our website or your browser settings.
If you are in the UK or EEA, strictly necessary cookies are set on the basis of our legitimate interests in operating a secure and functional website. All other cookies are set only with your consent.
6. How to manage cookies
You can control and delete cookies through your browser settings. The help section of your browser explains how to do this. You can also set your browser to block cookies or to alert you when cookies are being set.
- Blocking all cookies may prevent parts of the Services from working properly.
- Deleting cookies removes stored preferences, and you may need to set them again on your next visit.
- Opt-out tools from analytics providers may be available where such providers are used.
7. Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control
Some browsers transmit "Do Not Track" (DNT) signals. Because there is no common industry standard for interpreting DNT, we do not currently respond to it. Where we are legally required to honour Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals, we will treat them as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell personal information.
8. Cookies in our apps and Codex plugins and ChatGPT applications
Our Codex plugins and ChatGPT applications, GPTs, plugins, and actions run inside third-party platforms. We do not control the cookies those platforms set. When you interact with an app we operate, your use of the underlying platform is governed by that platform's cookie and privacy policies.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes in the technologies we use or in the law. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
10. Contact
